Joy Edgington

Crematorium Manager

Joy brings to her new role over 20 years of experience working in the funeral industry, including 10 years of crematorium and cemetery management.  Joy prides herself on ensuring a caring, supportive and professional client experience before, during and after the funeral service.  When not working, Joy enjoys spending time with her husband, two children and a plethora of pets.

Lianne

Crematorium Attendant

Lianne joins Waseley Hills Crematorium after a successful 21-year career in the funeral industry.   Care is at the very heart of anything Lianne puts her mind to; she is very passionate about supporting families at one of the most difficult times in their lives and her attention to detail is second to none.  Outside of work Lianne assists with craft workshops, is a member of the local walking club and loves to travel abroad.

Claire Montague

Crematorium Attendant

Claire joined the crematorium business 5 years ago after a successful ten-year career in the care industry.  Not only did her care experience provide lots of transferable skills, Claire found her passion and desire to help people was equally fulfilled by ensuring the best positive service at all times.  In her spare time, Claire enjoys spending time with family, cycling and looking after her 4 ferrets.

Alfie Davis

Crematorium Attendant

Alfie’s first steps into the funeral industry where taken in August 2021 when he joined the Waseley Hills team.   Since then Alfie has travelled around the Westerleigh Group learning the role and assisting other sites.  He passed his TEST certificate in December 2021 and is proud to have embarked on such a rewarding career.  Outside of work, Alfie likes collecting and reading Marvel comic books and spending time with his girlfriend.

Philip Carter

Gardening Team Leader

Phil is based at Waseley Hills but works throughout the Midlands and South region of the Westerleigh Group assisting with all things grounds related.  Bringing with him 8 years as head grounds person at a different crematorium. Phil is not happy until a job has been done perfectly and often received compliments and thanks at the presentation of the crematorium grounds for which he intends on continuing both at Waseley Hills and the wider group.   In his spare time, Phil enjoys home improvements and building things.   He is an avid football supporter, coaching a local team and plays pool for a local club.  In addition, he enjoys holidaying and spending time with family.

Warren (Wolly) Forster

Gardening Attendant

With 27 years as a golf green keeper and 5 years at another crematorium establishment as grounds person there is not a lot Wolly doesn’t know about anything green.  Wolly loves all things outdoors in and outside of work.  He's a family man and loves supporting his children at their football matches.  Having an appreciation for traditional craftmanship Wolly also has many projects he’s working on.  Wolly also enjoys country walks with his dog.
