111 children on average per day lose a parent. How we talk to them and act around them following their bereavement can make a huge difference to how they cope with their loss. This session is intended to provide teachers, teaching assistants, pastoral care workers, safeguarding officers and governors with an awareness of how Waseley Hills Crematorium and local funeral directors can help support you to facilitate age-appropriate bereavement education of school age children.
